Josef Dobrowsky, founder of Conextru, held senior technical positions at Cincinnati Extrusion for over 25 years and was responsible for the development and market launch of plastic pipe production lines. During this period, his work spanned numerous markets around the world and shaped plastic pipe extrusion technologies across the wider industry.

In 2009, he founded Conextru as an engineering company that provides pipe machine suppliers with advanced technologies.

Extruder and screw designs are based on Dobrowsky’s proprietary calculations and scale up methods. Dobrowsky’s expertise is centered around mono and multi-layer pipe-heads with a strong focus on spiral distributors. Furthermore, Dobrowsky has extensive experience in designing extrusion lines for small diameter high-speed as well as for large diameter heavy wall production.

Josef Dobrowsky has over 40 years’ experience in extruder design and is considered a major thought-leader in this space. His proprietary screw design calculation method is based on over 40 years of engineering experience.
